Interim Consultant Headteacher's Message

Welcome to Millbrook Combined School and Nursery School.  The school is for pupils between the ages of two and eleven years.  

As I continue in the role as Interim Consultant Headteacher at Millbrook Combined School my focus continues to be to ensure continuity and stability in the operations of the school, alongside embedding improvements as identified in the most recent Ofsted report.  It has, and continues to be both an honour and a privilege to be entrusted with this responsibility during the transitional period as we seek to identify and appoint the best candidate for the permanent headship here at Millbrook Combined School.

During this period, I am committed to upholding the school’s values, fostering a positive learning environment and maintaining open communication channels with all stakeholders – pupils, parents, staff and the wider community.   Our staff members are crucial to the success of Millbrook Combined School, and I am committed to providing them with the support and resources needed for them to excel in their roles. Together, we will navigate this interim period with a focus on collaboration, and the education and wellbeing of our students.

As we work together during this interim period, I welcome your ideas, feedback and involvement in shaping the direction of the school. I am confident that with the collective effort of our entire community, we will maintain the positive trajectory of Millbrook Combined School until the successful appointment of a permanent head teacher.
