Friends of Millbrook School

The Friends of Millbrook School are the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of Millbrook Combined School and Nursery. Anyone who has a child attending the nursery or the school is a member.  We fund raise for the “extras” that add to the school community.

We fundraise through our annual Summer Fayre, non-uniform days, Valentine’s Disco and a Frost Fayre in December.  

Our Friends association is about much more than simply fundraising. We are here to provide a closer link between home and school. We are happy to bring staff, parents and friends together socially to support the school and work towards common goals. 

All parents and members of the school community are encouraged to get involved in any way possible, even if they only have a small amount of time available.

The Friends of Millbrook School is extremely proud of the ethos and diversity of our school. We try very hard when organising and planning events to respect this. Not all of our events run as fundraisers.

We are a registered charity and our AGM is held in the Autumn Term, at which anyone can stand for election to the organising committee. This is also an opportunity to hear about the successes of the previous year.

We always appreciate suggestions and offers of help. We all want to work together to improve our school for the benefit of our children. If you would like to be involved please let the school office know.
