This means our teachers can plan for careful provision and learning for your child within our Early Years class and, we believe, offers an enhances service which is much more than child care.
Sessions include indoor and outdoor learning, child-initiated activities, snack time and a fun story and rhyme time. Due to the age of the children, we offer all types of toilet training. Due to staff to child ratios our capacity numbers are 10 spaces in the morning session and 10 spaces in the afternoon session.

School (Reception to Year 6)
Traditionally, pupils have started Reception at Millbrook in the September of the school year during which their 5th birthday falls. We recognize that this is not always appropriate for all children and happily discuss start dates on an individual basis as required.
We offer home visits to the parents of children joining our Reception classes. We also hold an induction session for the new Reception intake at the beginning of July. This is an opportunity for the children to have their first experience of being in the classroom. Before this we hold an induction meeting for parents to find out about starting school in Reception and further information about the school.
For further information on Reception admissions, please refer to the Buckinghamshire Council website. Please note that even if your child attends any of the Millbrook Combined School Nursery classes, the Council requires you to apply for a Reception place separately. Being in the Nursery does not automatically give your child a place in Reception.
In-year admissions
Whilst we welcome informal approaches to the school for in-year admissions, Buckinghamshire Council Admissions Team deal with all in-year admissions. If you would like your child to come to Millbrook Combined School, please speak to us and we can direct you to the relevant webpage and paperwork.
Once you have accepted an in-year admission with Buckinghamshire Council Admissions team to join our school we will invite you to attend the school and will provide you with an admissions pack to complete and return to us. Once reviewed we will then offer a start date for your child to join us.
Admissions for Pupils with SEND
All pupils are welcome at Millbrook and we endeavor to make the school environment accessible to all. We strive to ensure all pupils are treated equally and have access to the school environment and the curriculum taught within school.
If you believe your child has SEND then you would still apply through the usual method via Buckinghamshire Council Admissions. Please request to speak to the Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion prior to your child starting so we can ensure we are prepared to give them a settled start in school. A SEN Support Plan or Healthcare Plan will be completed accordingly in preparation for your child starting school with us. This can be done by phoning the school office and asking to speak with Mrs Goodman or sending an email to sen@millbrook.bucks.sch.uk.
If your child has an EHCP then admissions should be done through the Bucks SEN Team. Once a place has been allocated, please contact the Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion prior to your child starting as they may need additional visits or time to settle in before starting with us. This can be done by phoning the school office and asking to speak with Mrs Goodman or sending an email to sen@millbrook.bucks.sch.uk. We want to be prepared to support your child so their first experience with us is a positive one.
If you have any further questions regarding admissions, please email the admissions email address: admissions@millbrook.bucks.sch.uk or telephone us on: 01494524791
